Junior Chef De Partie

​

We are on the lookout for a talented Junior Chef de Partie to join our passionate and inspired team. Our chefs have the responsibility of delivering exceptional Japanese inspired street food to Worthing’s ever expanding food scene. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a team to really be proud of, as we continue to provide our hungry guests with some of the best food Worthing has to offer.

 

The role:

  • Daily preparation of fresh produce from local suppliers

  • Day to day service in a busy restaurant

  • Successfully running your allocated section

  • Produce dishes to the required standard under the guidance of the team

  • Upkeep of kitchen hygiene standards and cleanliness

 

You’ll have:

  • Drive, initiative and passion for the restaurant industry

  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience in fresh food preparation

  • Experience in a kitchen environment or other relevant role

  • Level 2 (or equivalent) certificate in food safety (or be willing to obtain this)

This position could be a part-time or full-time role. Shifts will be daytime, evenings and weekends. Rate of pay is negotiable and dependent on experience and ability.
